Commemorative rallies marking the 81st anniversary of the defeat of Nazi Germany and the rescue of Holocaust survivors were held this week in cities around the world as part of the annual Day of Liberation and Rescue, observed on the 26th of Iyar.

<p>In several different incidents over the past 24 hours, the Hezbollah terrorist organization launched hostile aircrafts, mortar shells, and explosive drones that fell near the area in which IDF soldiers are operating in southern Lebanon.</p><p>No sirens were sounded in accordance with protocol.</p><p>In addition, an unsuccessful attempt to launch a surface-to-air missile toward an Israeli Air Force aircraft operating in southern Lebanon was identified.</p>
